This is a sample international list of female musicians working in the field of experimental, contemporary and improvised music.
Festival Directors and curators often say to me that there is not enough of a pool of female musicians to choose from when putting together a program. There are over 100 names here, most of whom I recommend as incredible performers. I have included websites where possible, so you can find out for yourself…
